Are you experiencing eye pain, struggling with broken glasses or have you run out of eye care supplies and need professional advice about what to do?

Following the government announcement that all non-essential businesses were required to close, you may have noticed your optician closed their doors and recommended you contact your local hospital for any eye-related concerns over coming weeks.

However, we feel it may still be possible to help a considerable number of people, without the need for a trip to the hospital.

With two well-established practices in Lee-on-the-Solent and Wickham, our team have been an active part of our local communities for many years and we are keen to continue to support you as much as possible now.

If you have any recently presenting eye conditions, notice an existing problem is getting worse, break your glasses or run out of vital supplies, you can access free, expert advice directly from Sue by phone.

How does it work?

You can call Sue Monday – Friday 9 am to 5 pm.

Both practice phone lines have been diverted to Sue’s mobile. This means that when you phone our usual numbers your call will be redirected.

If Sue is busy, you will be able to leave a message and she will call you back.

Who can use this service?

Anyone. You don’t have to be our patient in order to call. If you are experiencing problems regarding your eyes, contact lenses or glasses, Sue is happy to give you advice.

It is important to us that you do not suffer without seeking advice or unnecessarily visit your local hospital at a time when they are extremely busy.

How much does this service cost?

This advice service is being offered free of charge throughout the current period of restricted activity.
